At AfricanEze you can pick any attractions or activities for your trip or evening out. No need to go on a fixed tour with activities you are not interested in. Our trips are booked per group, so you will not have to share with strangers. Your booking secures the use of the vehicle and driver to transport you to the sites or activities of your choice, within the indicated times. You can even do a quick bit of shopping or banking between your sight seeing.


Entrance fees and meals are for your own account.

Example  Day Trip: Mix and Match (Johannesburg)

Price:  R1250 (entrance fees and meals for your own account)
Time:  7 hours maximum (09:00-16:00)
Stops:  Maximum of 8

  1. Pick up in Johannesburg from your accommodation

Tip:  Should you change your mind about a stop on the day of the trip, just let your driver know. As long as the new stop does not fall outside of your booked time, we will do our best to accommodate you. 

Example  Evening Out: Romance (Pretoria)

Price: R600/couple (entrance fees and meals for your own account)
Time:    4 hours maximum (19:00-23:00)
Stops:  Maximum of 3

  1. Pick up in Pretoria from your accommodation
  2. Show at the State Theatre 
  3. Dinner at the restaurant of your choice
  4. Drop-off in Pretoria

Animal Lovers

Pilanesberg Game Reserve  
Pilanesberg National Park accommodates virtually every mammal of Southern Africa in the crater of an extinct volcano. It is also home to the Big Five. Since it is only 90 minutes from Pretoria, visiting the reserve makes this a comfortable day trip.

Geology and Archeology 

Cradle of Mankind
Within the caves, scientists have discovered many hominid and other animal fossils, dating back more than 4-million years, to the birth of humanity. The most important and most famous of these fossils are “Mrs Ples”, a 2.1-million-year-old Australopithecus skull, and “Little Foot”, an almost complete Australopithecus skeleton that is more than 3-million years old. These fossils, both found in the Sterkfontein Caves in the Cradle of Humankind, tell us much about the precursors of modern humans, Homo sapiens.

Gliding
Flights of 300 km are regularly achieved and some of our competition pilots have achieved 500 & 750 km flights. We are very fortunate to enjoy some of the best thermal soaring conditions in the world, and most flying days produce powerful thermals of between 1 and 5 meters per second, climbs as high as 15000 feet AMSL.
